UNCG's Thatre for Young People presents Wiley and The Hairy Man. A classic Southern folktale story of young Wiley who lives deep in the swamp of Alabama. The Hairy Man who lives in the swamp is out to "git" Wiley, and the only way for Wiley to save himself is to face his fears head-on. Wiley discovers a very special sort of "magic" deep inside himself. The story reminds us that brains are always whole lot better than brawn and of the wisdom that comes with living.
